Analytik in partnership with Agilent Technologies announce a workshop on portable & handheld molecular spectroscopy

Portable FTIR

Online registration is now open.

Analytik, leading suppliers of innovative analytical solutions to the UK and Ireland, is pleased to announce the first UK workshop at their new premises in Swavesey, Cambridge. Run in partnership with leading analytical instrument company, Agilent Technologies, the free-to-attend meeting will focus on portable & handheld molecular spectroscopy.

Molecular spectroscopy techniques are extremely well suited to be applied as portable or handheld instruments. Their simplicity, speed, selectivity, and ability to operate without sample preparation make them ideal to be used outside of the laboratory in more challenging environments. By bringing the analyser to the sample and making measurements when and where they are required, the full benefits of molecular spectroscopy can be realised.

Since becoming a channel partner for Agilent Technologies, and incorporating their unique handheld and portable FTIR products into their spectroscopy portfolio, Analytik is now able to deliver the three core vibrational spectroscopy techniques, FTIR (Mid-IR), NIR and Raman, as portable solutions.

In order to keep you up to date with the latest innovations in mobile spectroscopy and the powerful potential applications available, Analytik working in collaboration with Agilent is running a "Portable and Handheld Molecular Spectroscopy Workshop" on Tuesday 17th July 2012 at Analytik's premises in Swavesey, Cambridge.

Product specialists from both Agilent and Analytik will be available for consultation at the workshop. The day will consist of a mix of presentations and product demonstrations, and will give delegates the opportunity for practical hands-on sessions using the FTIR, NIR and Raman instruments. Delegates are encouraged to bring along their own samples to measure and experience the ease of using these tools first hand.

With spaces limited, please contact Analytik to register as soon as possible. Email to info@analytik.co.uk or call 0870 991 4044.

Cambridge-based Analytik are the exclusive UK and Ireland distributors of Agilent Technologies', ASD Inc.'s and DeltaNu's portable spectroscopy products. To learn more about the full range and their applications, click here
