The latest innovations are the stands of the Kronlab glass Pilot columns. These new and very open column stands provide easy access to the lower plunger which makes it very easy to remove the lower plunger for removal of the packing and cleaning the column. In addition you can now place a large collection vessel directly under the column to collect the used packing material. Service and cleaning procedures, such as changing frits and O-rings, are now more easily performed with very little effort.
Kronlab Glass Pilot columns are available as standard with diameters in the range of 100mm to 450mm ID, in different lengths in either aqueous buffer or solvent resistant versions. All columns can be delivered with full FDA certified wetted parts.
For the standard lab applications glass columns with diameters from 5mm to 80mm and maximum pressure ratings of up to 80 bar (depending on internal diameter and construction) are available.
