FRITSCH at Schloss Bellevue
For the fourth time already the Environment
Week will take place on June 5th and 6th 2012 in
cooperation with the German Federal Environmental Foundation (BDU) in the park
of Schloss Bellevue (Berlin). An independent jury selected the best entries
from the projects that demonstrate practical innovative approaches in combining
ecology, economics and social issues as an important contribution for the endurance
of Germany as a leading industrial nation.
FRITSCH Milling and Sizing
impressed the jury with the FRITSCH Planetary Micro Mill PULVERISETTE 7 premium line and classic line. The Institute for Chemical and Environmental
Chemistry - ITUC - of the Friedrich Schiller-University in Jena conducted with
the FRITSCH Planetary Ball Mills experiments in the areas of organic chemical
synthesis. Therefore, continues the tradition of this special exhibition and information platform for trend-setting environmental projects. As in previous years, about 170 companies, institutions, associations and initiatives, have the opportunity to present their new technologies, products, projects and concepts for a sustainable and efficient use of our resources. At the exhibition and the accompanying high-quality and diverse range of lectures (80 expert forums) and discussions, about 12,000 invited guests from politics, economy, science society and the media are expected. The presentations of the projects in the park of Schloss Bellevue shall provide an overview of the width and diversity of the activities in regards to sustainability, climate protection, natural resources and nature conservancy. The following was the task of the FRITSCH Planetary Ball Mills: In reality are chemical reactions and processes as a rule, linked with the intensive utilization of solvents and this bears the danger of a severe strain on humans and the environment. The idea was, to apply, the for the reaction necessary energy mechanically and to avoid for the most part, the use of harmful to the environmental solvents. The newly developed concept includes the achievement of chemical reactions and processes with ball mills, which due to their high impact energy are perfectly suited. The advantages are a low amount of materials, high energy efficiency and environmentally friendliness despite the intensification of the reactions. With this new solution, innovative reactions and procedures could be developed, which up until now were not possible with classic strategies based on solvents or only feasible with great difficulty. The results are an environmental friendly synthesis of new products and materials. The detailed application report Organic chemical synthesis via planetary ball mill can be downloaded at www.fritsch.de in the solutions area. In the solution area you will find additional numerous uses for Planetary Ball Mills from various industries. FRITSCH Planetary Mills classic line and premium line are available in different models - for each application the suitable mill. Facts about FRITSCH Planetary Mills Planetary
Mills are suited for the fast loss-free size-reduction from a few milligrams up
to several kilograms down to Nano range fineness. They are ideal in the fields
of geology and mineralogy, ceramics, chemistry, biology, pharmaceuticals,
metallurgy, material technology and analysis preparation. In addition to
comminution the Planetary Mills are suitable for mixing and homogenizing of
emulsions and pastes for mechanical alloying and activation in material
research. |
