Fisher Scientific Supplier Excellence Awards 2012 Thermo Fisher
Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, recently announced the
winners of its Supplier Excellence Awards during its first pan European Fisher
Scientific Sales Meeting, held in Estoril, Portugal. From January 16-19, more than 750 delegates attended the Fisher Scientific European Sales Meeting at the Estoril Congress Centre in Portugal. This was the first pan-European sales event, and it convened delegates from 17 countries and 67 companies. The four-day event included an exhibition showcase with 73 booths featuring products from Fisher Scientific and other leading suppliers The event also featured a gala dinner where winning suppliers received their Excellence Awards. This year's event drew an enthusiastic response from delegates. David Westwater, VP / general manager, Fisher Scientific Europe, hailed the event a "huge success," while Nieves Saiz-Maza, sales director RSD Spain and Portugal, praised it as a "good investment. Likewise,Jean-Luc Cordel, EMEA scientific sales leader at supplier Kimberly-Clark Professional,said that "As usual, we made excellent contacts with your people, and we had the great honor of leaving with the European Sales Support Award.
