Located in Bedford, UK, the state-of-the-art facility offers pipette repair, calibration and certification for pipette customers throughout the UK and Ireland. Pipetman brand pipettes are acknowledged for their rugged durability and long-life spans and the new Service Centre is devoted to ensuring that Pipetman pipettes function as accurately and precisely as when first purchased.
As the only service centre in the UK authorised to service Pipetman pipettes, the Gilson centre prides itself on using only genuine Gilson parts on every repair order. This ensures optimum functionality of each pipette with the aim of matching its performance to original specifications. Each Service Technician receives extensive training by skilled Gilson employees who work directly with the manufacturing process and is therefore an expert at inspecting, calibrating and repairing pipettes. Gilson certified Technicians calibrate the pipettes to manufacturer specifications, which are in fact, up to two times tighter that standard ISO 8655 specifications.
