Introducing the HotCoil

publication date: Apr 16, 2015
 |
author/source: Uniqsis Ltd

Welcome to the HotCoil™, the latest addition to the Uniqsis range of flow chemistry systems and modules.

FlowSynCompatible with all Uniqsis coil reactors and with an operating temperature range of ambient to +260°C, the HotCoil represents an excellent low-cost entry into flow chemistry. Simply add your own pumps to create a basic flow chemistry system.

With its clear bright LED display and simple 'push-to-set' controller, the HotCoil is ideally suited to stand-alone operation. Alternatively, it can be controlled directly by the Uniqsis FlowSyn, Binary Pump Module, or the new FlowControl™ system control software.

For example, starting with the Uniqsis Binary Pump reagent addition module, you can add up to two HotCoil units and up to two additional Polar Bear Plus Flow™ modules to build a system capable of running both manual and automated experiments.

An attractive and versatile option for direct scale-up applications is to connect several HotCoil reactors in series in combination with standalone pumps, the Uniqsis Binary Pump or the FlowSyn. Each HotCoil can accommodate reactor coils up to a maximum of 60ml.

For those flow chemists wishing to build their own bespoke or more complex component-based flow chemistry system, the FlowControl™ software from Uniqsis has a convenient auto-detect facility for the HotCoil.

Take control of your flow chemistry experiments with customised continuous flow systems from Uniqsis

Uniqsis flow chemistry systems, whether integrated or modular, are designed for easy customisation so you can achieve the exact system required for your specific application. Choose from the following features and options:

  • Pressures up to 200 bar and temperatures up to 300°C
  • Choice of highly chemically resistant systems
  • Combined flow rates up to 100ml/min
  • Three low temperature options
  • Uniqsis FlowControl™ software for easy programming, control and recording of all your flow chemistry experiments
