UHPLC+ Solutions for Inverse Gradient: Uniform Response with UltiMate 3000 x2 Dual System and Charged Aerosol Detection
This turnkey solution provides isocratic conditions even when running gradient chromatography. The unique UltiMate 3000 x2 system applies the inverse of the analytical gradient after the column, but before the Corona detector. The effect of this is to provide consistent response of all non-volatile analytes (and some semi-volatile analytes) independent of the chemical structure of the analytes and of the analytical gradient used. With a consistent response, unknown compounds can be quantitated either through their relative area, or by using a generic response curve of a known analyte. "There are multiple applications for this technique across many markets," said Frank Steiner, LC Solutions Manager for Dionex. "It is already used for metabolite research and stability testing in the pharmaceutical market. In addition, such a technique can be used for providing quantitative information on antibiotics in surface water or lipid profiles in edible oils. We see it being adopted by multiple laboratories for multiple applications." The new Corona ultra RS detector includes features that enhance the usability and extend application use, such as an on-board The UHPLC+ Solution for Inverse Gradient kit includes all necessary fluidic parts for inverse gradient including the unique For more information, visit www.dionex.com or contact your local Dionex representative.
