Oxford Global is proud to present the inaugural Genetics in Forensics Congress, taking place on the 14th and 15th of March 2016 in central London, UK. Over two days our event will bring together 150 senior level attendees from academia, research institutes and forensic laboratories to discuss the current challenges and future opportunities in DNA profiling and human identification.

The Genetics in Forensics Congress is a senior-level meeting designed to provide key insights into current industry trends. One of the main themes at the meeting will be the application of NGS technologies in forensic science, as the advances in NGS technologies and platforms have opened up exciting new opportunities in many areas of investigative genetics research. On day one our conference features a whole stream dedicated to exploring the opportunities and challenges of NGS, including statistical analysis and interpretation of DNA profiles and mixture deconvolution.

Our highly esteemed panel of speakers will also address topics including body fluid identification, SNP and STR analysis, microbial forensics, Y chromosome analysis and phenotypic inference. On day two the focus turns to the data handling challenges in forensic genetics, with presentations covering database construction, data sharing and storage.
