MEDLAB Middle East: Following 14 successful years, the flagship MEDLAB has demonstrated its domineering, global presence as the world’s largest attended laboratory exhibition and conference.

The 2017 edition of MEDLAB takes place from 6th-9th February and will feature over 400 cutting-edge laboratory technologies being showcased from over 700 exhibitors from 38 countries, expecting to welcome over 30,000 laboratory and trade professionals from all continents. During the four-day event, 11 multi-disciplinary conferences offer up to 28 CME credits that will be led by globally recognised speakers on topics including laboratory management, microbiology and immunology, and clinical chemistry. While incorporating new tracks specialising in blood transfusion medicine, laboratory informatics and updates in clinical diagnostics of cardiology and diabetes enabling the correlation of roles between laboratory professionals and clinicians. Delegates can also attend a number of workshops led by globally leading laboratory management and diagnostics companies. The workshops will cover a variety of areas including paediatric pathology and lab accreditation.

With over 83% of companies, both national and international, re-booking to exhibit in 2017, the separation from Arab Health is well underway to bring about a more targeted and concentrated exhibition and conference. Given MEDLAB’s move as a standalone event, 2017 opens up more opportunities for potential exhibitors to showcase the latest diagnostic innovations and services to a purely international market. A 50% increase in floor space now means that an additional 100 companies can take part in 2017.
