BioTek Instruments is very pleased to announce receipt of the 2019 Governor’s Excellence in Worksite Wellness Award - GOLD Level, bestowed by the Vermont Department of Health and the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

The honor was presented at the 2019 Worksite Wellness Conference, held March 21 in Burlington, VT.

Within its strong and supportive team-approach corporate culture, BioTek actively supports employee health and wellness through its BioFit Wellness Program. This year’s defined program goals include achieving target blood pressure, cholesterol and weight levels, eliminating the use of all tobacco products, increasing physical activity and promoting healthy lifestyle habits to decrease the risk of illness and disease. Workplace resources in these areas include subsidized health club memberships, preventative body maintenance programs, educational wellness presentations, and free flu shot clinics for employees and family members. Additionally, the company encourages employees to participate in community service activities and supports wellness initiatives through recognition programs.
