Markes International (Llantrisant, UK) has announced that it will be giving a short course on ambient air monitoring at Pittcon 2016 (in Atlanta, Georgia, USA), and present several technical papers, rather than having an exhibition booth on the tradeshow floor.

MarkesThe half-day course, entitled “Ambient air monitoring: What are the right tools for the job?” will take place in the morning of Thursday, March 10th and is aimed at analysts, test laboratories, environmental consultants, regulators, universities and environmental representatives from industry. Registration for the course is via the Pittcon website.

The course consists of modules on:

Massimo Santoro, Technical Marketing Director at Markes and one of the course instructors, said “This half-day short course will cover the various options available for sampling a variety of VOCs in a range of situations/conditions, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each technique. In addition to the sampling, and together with highly-experienced external speakers, we will also look at the latest developments in analysis and detection of VOCs.”
