Raman-AFM: Agreement between HORIBA Scientific with AIST-NT

HORIBA Jobin Yvon S.A.S. (Palaiseau, France), operating worldwide under the name of HORIBA Scientific, is pleased to announce its recent agreement with AIST-NT (Novato, CA, USA) to distribute their Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM) product line in most of Europe, China and South America.

Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM)AIST-NT is a manufacturer of advanced SPM systems designed specifically for integration with optical spectroscopy, and has been a partner of HORIBA Scientific for AFM-Raman and Tip Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (TERS) system integration for several years.

HORIBA Scientific is a leading spectroscopy equipment manufacturer, and is the leader in Raman microscopy. With the growing interest for nano-spectroscopy and TERS, HORIBA Scientific has collaborated with several SPM manufacturers to deliver a wide range of combined solutions. While HORIBA Scientific continues to support such solutions with third party SPM systems, through this agreement HORIBA Scientific's integrated AFM-Raman solutions with AIST-NT SPM technology will be fully supported by the HORIBA Scientific network.

The AIST-NT Scanning Probe Microscope product line implements unique hardware and software features which combined with HORIBA Scientific's renown spectrometer technology make up the most versatile, powerful and easy-to-use AFM-Raman solution to date. The exceptional long term stability and speed of the integrated platform bring reliable results both for co-localized measurements and TERS imaging.
