As we are sure you aware, solid glass limited volume vials are usually more expensive than what you or your customers would like to pay for. 

Glastic VialsThis isn’t a new problem.  As a matter of fact, in the late-70’s when Jerry Finneran was working for another company, in the plastics department, he was trying to think of ways to reduce the cost of such a vial.  He suggested that using a plastic vial, since plastic is less expensive than glass, and bonding a glass insert inside it, which would maintain the glass surface being in contact with samples that the lab techs required, would reduce the cost of the vial....
