Scientific
Laboratory Supplies (SLS), the only UK-owned independent supplier of laboratory
supplies and chemicals that operates on a national basis, has just recently
launched a programme to flag British manufactured products with its suppliers
with a view to identifying them in the next catalogue and on its website.
Proud of
its British heritage, SLS has introduced the scheme to highlight the
significant amount of UK-made equipment that they have in our portfolio,
support those suppliers and, where customers have the option, help them choose
to 'buy British'. The programme will be launched in May 2012 using a purpose
designed "Made in Britain" icon, this will appear against relevant products in
the new SLS catalogue (due May 2012) and on its website.
