Wavelength accuracy and wavelength repeatability are just some of the specifications measured using NIST traceable standards following both European and United States pharmacopeia guidelines.
The test procedure includes:
- IQ (Installation Qualification) - a step by step procedure to ensure that the hardware and software are installed in a controlled manner, covering location, environment, PC set up and accessory connection
- OQ (Operational Qualification) - validates the hardware and software functionality per manufacturer specification once installed
- PQ (Performance Qualification) - protocols and advice to guide through use and ongoing validation of the instrument
