Our series of 10 and 20 ml screw thread headspace vials are manufactured from thick wall TYPE I BOROSILICATE clear and amber glass which offers added protection against bursting when internal pressure builds.
Amber glass headspace vials are offered for working with light sensitive compounds.
Note that the TYPE I BOROSILICATE clear glass tubing has been tested and is in compliance with the USP section 661, ASTM 438-90; powder glass specs set forth in EP under section 3.2.1 Test B; and will meet the Soluable Alkali Test requirements set forth in the 14th Edition of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia, Chapter 57, (3)(I).
The lined magnetic open-hole closures are provided with a variety of septa materials including, Red PTFE/White Silicone, White PTFE/Blue Silicone, Blue PTFE/White Silicone, and Grey PTFE/Red Butyl.
