ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard relating to the management of laboratories and its revision is therefore of interest to UKAS accredited laboratories.  Following its AGM at the Birmingham Assay Office on 5 July, BMTA will hold a morning seminar on the current state of play in the revision process and the effects of likely changes on UK laboratories. Speakers include Trevor Thompson, Head of Operations Support, UKAS and Carol Stewart, Technical Director, Health Sciences & Environmental, Exova.

After the presentations delegates will be served lunch and invited on a tour of the facilities at Birmingham Assay Office
