Malvern Instruments is hosting a series of one-day seminars around the UK during April at which participants can learn how to develop better products by understanding the size, shape, chemistry and rheological behaviour of materials. Combining expert presentations with hands-on practical sessions, this year's events will take place on 17 April in Newport, 18 April in Ascot, 25 April in Stirling and 26 April in Bradford.
Speakers from Malvern will cover topics including particle size by laser diffraction and dynamic light scattering (DLS), zeta potential, gel permeation chromatography/size exclusion chromatography (GPC/SEC), particle characterization by image analysis, rheology measurements and dedicated systems for protein applications. Options for measurement in the process environment will also be discussed.
All presentations focus on theory and applications, with practical, hands-on demonstrations also given. Sessions will feature examples of applications from across a wide range of different industries. There will be opportunities to discuss individual applications with Malvern specialists on the day.
Attendee numbers at these ever popular, free of charge seminars are limited and places must be pre-booked.
