Crawford Scientific offer the OPTIMAL range of HPLC columns as a high value replacement for other leading column brands. In recent studies, these columns showed chromatographic characteristics to match or better several leading brands with even better robustness – providing very good value for money for our customers.
The Reverse Phase HPLC Column Classification methodology developed by Euerby and Pettersson is now very popular and the OPTIMAL range produce some very interesting results when independently classified. The OPTIMAL–L (Aq) column shows very low CDF (column difference factor) results compared to Genesis Aq™ (CDF 0.050) and Phenomenex Aqua™ (CDF 0.089) columns in terms of the 6 primary classification terms. The OPTIMAL-H column compares very favourably to Phenomenex Luna (2) C18™ (CDF 0.117) and Waters Sunfire C18™ (CDF 0.118) columns and represents an excellent C18 column for both method development and routine analysis.
