Cogent Diamond-Hydride

Cogent

Cogent™ Diamond-Hydride columns are an ideal choice for metabolomics applications.

This unique phase is based on TYPE-C™ silica in which the silica surface is populated with silicon-hydride bonds instead of silanols. Patented bonding technology is used to create the ‘Diamond-Hydride’ with direct silicon-carbon bonds on the silica hydride surface.

Cogent Diamond-Hydride columns are used to retain very polar compounds by aqueous normal phase, but can also operate in normal-phase and reversed-phase modes. The lack of surface silanols leads to fast equilibration times, excellent peak shape and unique retention capabilities for metabolites, underivatised amino acids, carbohydrates and small organic acids.

A new Cogent columns catalogue featuring the full range of Cogent™ TYPE-C HPLC columns is now available. For your copy or further information email Hichrom Limited at: marketing@hichrom.co.uk or click here
