20190211_1As a global leading supplier of of raw materials, antibodies, and reagents for bio-technology industry, Creative Diagnostics has announced the launch of a series of new, innovative mycotoxins analysis products and services for customers globally.

Conjugates, antibodies and test kits for all relevant mycotoxins now are supplied by Creative Diagnostics, such as Aflatoxin, Citrinin, DON (Vomitoxin), Fumonisin, Ochratoxin, Patulin, Sterigmatocystin, T-2/HT-2 TOXIN, and Zearalenone.

Mycotoxins are toxic metabolites produced by different types of fungus, which mainly belong to the Aspergillus, Penicillium and Fusarium genera. They commonly enter the food chain through contaminated food and feed crops. The presence of mycotoxins in food and feed can lead to serious acute and chronic effects on the health of humans as well as animals. Mycotoxin analysis of food and feed is therefore necessary and often required by legislation.

There are a variety of testing solutions used for mycotoxin analysis in food and feed, ranging from rapid tests that are easy to conduct, to reference methodology tests that are more time consuming but yield more detailed results. Results obtained can be qualitative, semi-quantitative, or quantitative. HPLC, ELISA and lateral flow test are primary methods available for mycotoxin analysis.

"To supply the most advanced scientific solutions for our clients to solve challenges due to mycotoxin contamination has always been a guiding principle for us," Mike Knuth, M.D., the chief scientific officer of R&D department of Creative Diagnostics. "So we always support science community by applying clients with state-of-the-art technologies, such as these newly released highly reliable, rapid and economical mycotoxins analysis products and services (Citrinin, Fumonisin, Ochratoxin, etc.), which will save time and money for our customers."

"Mycotoxin testing needs to take place at every step in the food supply chain. Our conjugates, antibodies and test kits for all relevant mycotoxins, such as aflatoxins, will give our global customers even greater speed and simplicity while continuing to offer the accuracy and reliability. We'll continue to provide our customers with high quality mycotoxins analysis products and services that meet those requirements of food and agriculture exporters to quickly assess their product's suitability." said Dr. Jessica Waldorf, chief scientific officer of R&D department of Creative Diagnostics.
