Cole-Parmer-Refreshes-Electrothermal-Histology-Range-Paraffin-Wax-Dispenser

cole-parmerCole-Parmer Ltd, a leading UK manufacturer of a laboratory instruments, announced today that it is refreshing its Paraffin Wax Dispenser and replacing it with a new, improved model.

Ideal for histology and pathology labs, the Electrothermal Paraffin Wax Dispenser is designed for on-demand delivery of molten wax. With a large 7.5 L capacity tank, it is capable of melting up to 6 kg of pelletised wax at a time.

Taking on board customer feedback, the new wax dispenser has been designed to take up as little bench space as possible, measuring just 181 x 500 x 455 mm. Other features include a non-drip heated tap to prevent blockages, a fully insulated stainless steel inner tank to prevent heat loss, and an automatic shut-off safety feature if the dispenser reaches 120°C. The outer surface is coated with a silver-based anti-microbial additive to inhibit growth of bacteria and maintain the dispenser’s function.

To continue to meet clients’ evolving expectations, this new model is Electrothermal’s most user-friendly device yet. Controlled entirely via an intuitive digital control panel, the dispenser operates across temperatures ranging from ambient to 70°C.

“Electrothermal has been a prominent figure in the Histology marketplace for more than 20 years,” says Antony Wozniak, Electrothermal Product Manager at Cole-Parmer Ltd. “Our products can be found in histology labs across the globe, so when we come to design a new product, we do it with experience. Therefore, I’m extremely confident that our new Electrothermal Paraffin Wax Dispenser will meet our customers’ needs and help continue the great work carried out by histology and pathology labs every day.”
