The new processor will allow new remote operation capabilities as well as improving the download speed by a factor of 50, allowing faster real-time focusing from the control computer and large file transfer in less than 5 seconds.

The high throughput SIM camera optical design offers up to 16 separate channels without compromising resolution, shading, or parallax. The additional advantage of an innovative auxiliary view port, allowing other optical instruments makes the SIM the most versatile imaging system on the market.
