The CLARIOstar multi-mode microplate reader from BMG LABTECH now offers even more versatility
Now with independent O2 and CO2 control for live cell assays
The new Atmospheric Control Unit (ACU) allows independent, simultaneous control of both O2 and CO2 within the microplate reader chamber. Assays which can now be performed on the CLARIOstar range from standard cell growth assays to cytotoxicity assays. The ACU provides the optimal environment for any live cell-based assay.

- O2 control range: 0.1 – 20%
- CO2 control range: 0.1 – 20%
- LCD touchscreen with an intuitive user interface
- Up to ten user-definable presets
- Gas concentration curve display
- Integrated gas pressure regulators and sensors
All active components and integrated into the ACU for highest reliability and easy maintenance. In combination with the CLARIOstar’s temperature control, three shaking options, bottom reading, and Z-height adjustment, the CLARIOstar with ACU provides an ideal “walk-away” solution for any long-term, cell-based assays.
