The OHAUS Guardian 2000TM Analog Hotplate Stirrers are ideal for classrooms and other lab environments that require affordable, durable, fast heating, and reliable stirring.

The Guardian 2000 Series comes in three sizes - ceramic 7 x 7 inch and 4 x 4 inch square tops for heating models and a resin top for stir only. The 5.3 inch round top is ceramic coated stainless steel. These models are compatible with a range of accessories

Versatility in the Lab and Classroom

Three Guardian 2000 Series models available in three plate sizes offer simple knob control to easily adjust the heating and stirring functions. The durable housing includes a built-in support rod holder which accepts the optional support rod. Stirring models include PTFE coated stir bars.

Powerful, Consistent Stirring Performance

Reliable, strong stirring up to 1600 rpm is made possible by a powerful motor and strong magnet ensuring secure magnetic coupling for viscous and high-volume applications.

Durability and Safety

Consistently safe to use at high temperature settings with a spill-resistant design that features a rugged metal housing that delivers durability in the lab under harsh conditions. The ceramic, ceramic coated stainless steel and resin top plate materials are all chemical-resistant and designed for easy clean ups.

A prominent hot top indicator light illuminates when the heater is above 40°C, keeping the end user safe during all heating and stirring applications with all Guardian 2000 Series Hotplate Stirrers.

All models feature a built-in support rod holder for the optional support rod kit.
