Fisher Scientific Holds Joint Sales Training Event
Fisher Scientific, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., today announced the success of their RESULTS training event that took place over three days, starting on 11 January, at the Barceló Hotel at Hinckley in Leicestershire.
The event consisted of a two-day exhibition with forty three of Fisher Scientifics' leading suppliers training the Fisher Scientific sales force and relevant internal people on their products. The objective was to train people on the new RESULTS program, designed to deliver solutions across an entire application - from sample collection to data collection. Additionally, it provides unparalleled access to the brands and technical innovation customers need today. The intensive event was invaluable to both staff and suppliers alike.
The event included a Supplier Awards banquet to recognise key suppliers who give Fisher Scientific excellent support, cooperation and take a team approach. Categories included: Supplier of the Year, Private Label Supplier of the year, Marketing, New product Introduction, Logistics, Sales support and European Excellence. The European Excellence award was given to Life Technologies.
