NEW HALO PFP Fused-Core UHPLC columns - for Alternative Selectivity

HALO PFP Fused-Core UHPLC columns HALO, the ‘original' Fused-Core UHPLC columns manufactured by Advanced Materials Technology, feature a 0.5µm porous silica layer ‘fused' onto a 1.7µm solid silica particle. The resulting columns provide faster separations and higher sample throughput, without compromising column efficiency, ruggedness and reliability. HALO® PFP is the latest addition to the range of original Fused-Core® columns for HPLC and UHPLC (ultra-fast) separations.

These Fused-Core® particles generate significantly lower back pressure compared to other UHPLC columns, enabling them to be used with any conventional HPLC or UHPLC instrument

The pentafluorophenyl functionality of this new HALO PFP phase introduces additional mechanisms of separation and alternative bonded phase selectivity, compared with other HALO phases. HALO PFP columns are particularly suited for ...

  • Halogenated compounds
  • Nitroaromatic compounds
  • Polar bases
  • Highly water soluble compounds
  • When C18 or C8 shows inadequate separation
  • HILIC applications

HALO® columns are also available as C18, C8, HILIC (unbonded silica), RP-Amide, Phenyl-Hexyl and Peptide ES-C18 phases. To request your copy of the new HALO PFP columns brochure, or for further information on any HALO product, please contact Hichrom Limited at:
