Whitehouse Scientific, the highest ranking European certification laboratory for primary methods of particle size analysis will be exhibiting its state of the art calibration microspheres and services at FILTECH 2016 between 11-13 October in Cologne, Germany (Stand G10, Koeln Messe). The conference is the largest world-wide filtration event.

Dr. Graham Rideal, CEO at Whitehouse Scientific will be on booth at FILTECH and available to discuss and give information on particle size analysis, techniques and the instruments displayed.

At this year’s congress, Whitehouse Scientific will be exhibiting the ShapeSizer™, a static image analysis system which measures particles, sieve meshes and filter pores. Through the optical microscope and a high quality 1.4 megapixel camera, the ShapeSizer can measure both size and shape. The instrument provides a transparent measurement process, and this is traceable using certified reference standards.

You will also get the chance to find out more about the PoreSizer™, which will be displayed at Stand No.G10. The PoreSizer uses glass bead filter standards to obtain the dimensions of square filter measures. Dr. Graham Rideal commented: “We are delighted that we now have an instrument that can measure the geometric pore size of elaborate three dimensional filters and that all measures are traceable to international standards of length. We are very excited that this will be exhibited at FILTECH and invite attendees to come along, see the product and ascertain further information at our booth.”
