New chemical resistant ATEX vacuum gauge with 9V battery power

VACUUBRAND's vacuum gauges ensure quick and easy vacuum measurement. Optimized for use in the chemical industry, they are characterized by high accuracy and long-term stability. The new DVR 3pro now offers optimal flexibility for operation in hazardous areas with a 9V battery power supply that is freely available in retail outlets.

The new ATEX-compliant measuring device DVR 3pro for vacuum measurement down to 1 mbar replaces the predecessor model DVR 3. Besides optimized electronics and software, it also offers mains-independent operation for convenient use in the laboratory. The large display with digital and analog readouts makes it easy for the user to view measured values precisely and to quickly detect tendencies. The ATEX approval (II 2G EX ib IIC T4 Gb) enables safe use in hazardous areas for ATEX category 2.

The DVR 3pro is ideally suited for working with aggressive gases or vapors: All wetted parts are made of chemical-resistant materials. The integrated pressure sensor made of aluminium oxide ceramic provides excellent corrosion resistance and high long-term stability. With its excellent immunity to electromagnetic interference, the DVR 3pro offers a high degree of operational safety, even when used in industrial environments. Another advantage is the removable battery cover on the back of the device meaning that the user can easily change the 9v battery for the power supply outside of the ATEX hazardous area. In addition, the 9V battery used in the DVR 3pro is a type that is freely available in many retail outlets. The measuring device is also energy efficiency, allowing for individual settings such as duty cycle and measuring frequency for battery-saving operation.

The DVR 3pro comes with multiple connecting parts and accessories for flexible use in the laboratory: A hose nozzle DN 6/10 for use with common laboratory tubing, a small flange adapter DN 16 and finally a compression fitting for direct connection for PTFE hose 10/8 mm.
