As a result of strong business growth over the last few years – sample management specialists – Ziath Ltd. has made a new strategic investment to further support its expanding international operations.

To enhance the level of support to its growing customer base in the European Union – Ziath has opened a new office near Maastricht, Netherlands. The new Ziath BV office will be headed up by Wilbert Lennartz, a seasoned sales and marketing manager who aims to further expand Ziath’s coverage with direct sales and knowledgeable support to customers across the Benelux region and Northern part of France. Beneficially for EU based customers - this new Ziath BV office will be able to accept and process orders and payments for the company’s market-leading sample management solutions with unimpeded efficiency and lower costs in the post-Brexit market.

Ziath Managing Director Neil Benn commented” We are very pleased to have opened our third subsidiary company, following the success of our USA and Japan operations, in the vital European drug discovery and biobanking market. We believe that Ziath BV will eventually grow to become a major European hub for supplying and supporting our customers within the EU as we continue to expand and launch new and ever more innovative products that simplify the science of sample management in the key areas of life science, drug discovery and biobanking.”

The new office came into operation on 1st September 2021 and has already established good links with existing Ziath clients based in the Netherlands. Wilbert Lennartz, the new European Regional Sales Manager, said “I’m very excited to be given the opportunity to grow Ziath business and support its customers throughout the Benelux region. We have already received our first order from Amsterdam and are confident of many more to follow as we open up the local market by offering better technological solutions to life science customers across this region with all the benefits of EU support and payment in local currency.”
