INTEGRA focus on applications at Analytica

VIAFLO 96 handheld electronic pipetteAt ANALYTICA 2012, INTEGRA will launch a range of new application solutions for its VIAFLO 96 handheld electronic pipette.

Visitors to Stand 401-504 in Hall A3 will be able to discuss a suite of new applications developed for the VIAFLO 96 - a 96-channel handheld electronic pipette that enables fast, precise and easy simultaneous transfer of 96 samples. The VIAFLO 96 has been designed to be used just like a standard handheld pipette. Therefore, no special skills or training are required to operate it. The highly intuitive Touch WheelTM user interface enables simple and fast programming of a wide range of pipetting modes including repeat dispense, serial dilute and sample dilute. Users will also immediately benefit from the increased productivity delivered by their VIAFLO 96.   Fast replication or reformatting of 96 and 384 well plates and high precision transferring of reagents, compounds and solutions to or from microplates is now as easy as pipetting with a standard electronic pipette into a single tube.

Dr Alexander Studer, VP of Marketing, commented "Analytica 2012 is an event that many German speaking and international visitors choose to visit.  In line with this INTEGRA has chosen to launch a wide range of new optimised application solutions and exhibit its latest range of innovative laboratory tools at the show".

In addition to its range of popular liquid handling, flame sterilisation and vacuum aspiration products - INTEGRA will show VIAFILLTM - a ground breaking product that delivers high performance bulk reagent dispensing, multichannel pipetting and microplate washing capabilities all from a single multipurpose instrument. A choice of different tubing sets allow the user to quickly change between these three operation modes making VIAFILL a uniquely versatile tool for laboratories which perform a range of different applications including reagent or media dispensing, cell seeding, plate washing or serial dilutions.

INTEGRA will also exhibit a new Turbo mode option for its MEDIAJET Automated Petri Dish Filling system. Media preparation labs can now benefit from the new Turbo mode option which significantly accelerates the filling rates of the MEDIAJET resulting in time-savings of more than 40%. With this option, the MEDIAJET is able to fill up to 1100 Petri dishes / hour or deep dishes with high volumes of media (up to 60ml / dish).  Also on display will be INTEGRA latest range of MEDIACLAVE media preparation systems which enable labs to prepare high quality culture media reliably and efficiently.

Today, INTEGRA innovative laboratory tools are widely used all around the world. More than ninety distribution-partners form a worldwide sales network providing responsive and competent services to customers. These distribution partners are supported by a highly motivated and experienced team of specialists at the company headquarters in Zizers, Switzerland.  INTEGRA is an ISO 9001 certified company.
