A series of webinars aimed at those working in the processing environment will take place during April, May and September 2011 as part of Malvern Instruments' extensive web seminar program. Subjects covered will range from the use of on-line particle sizing in micronization through to process optimization and control of cement production. Two further webinars will be available in Portuguese. These events are free to attend, and open to all. For full details, and to register, visit www.malvern.com/webseminar
Presented by Malvern experts, webinar topics will include:
- 21 April 2011: ‘Telephoto - An innovative solution for large particles' will examine the performance of the telephoto lens when measuring large particles (Dv98 up to 2500 µm) on-line, using laser diffraction.
- 19 May 2011: ‘Controlling Micronization - PAT as a process driver' will describe the use of on-line particle sizing technology for real-time process monitoring and control of micronization - a technique widely used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and product development.
- 26 May 2011: 'Controlling cement product quality' will focus on cement production, from development through to process optimization and control.
- 7 September 2011: ‘Application consultancy - brings the best out of your installation!' will illustrate how it helps to understand the dynamics of data, and identify the best output data to provide process control limits.
