Thermo Fisher Scientific introduces the Thermo Scientific™ Nicolet™ Apex FTIR Spectrometer, a powerful and versatile infrared spectrometer capable of providing high quality data for a wide range of applications, including materials analysis, pharmaceutical research and environmental monitoring.

The innovative Nicolet Apex spectrometer offers advanced features, improved performance and enhanced analytical capabilities compared to similar commercially available solutions, with the introduction of the fast TE-MCT detector and the intuitive Thermo Scientific™ OMNIC™ Paradigm Software.

This software offers several different user interfaces – suited to users with different levels of experience – as well as the ability to easily create new workflows. It enables users to accurately and reliably analyze organic and inorganic materials, making it a valuable tool for quality control, product development and research applications.

The Nicolet Apex replaces the current Thermo Scientific™ Nicolet™ iS20 FTIR Spectrometer and uses advanced hardware and software features – including a patented interferometer design, automated background correction and intuitive user interface – to deliver superior performance compared to other FTIR instruments on the market. The Nicolet Apex is one of a range of benchtop FTIR spectrometers from Thermo Fisher Scientific, offering solutions from cost-effective routine use to high end R&D.
