Creative Diagnostics Continues to Expand Its Offering with New Nanoclusters

NanoClusters

With years of experience in the pharmaceutical and life science sector, Creative Diagnostics launches Nanclusters, which are functionalized with carboxyl groups that allow the covalent conjugation of antibodies by formation of stable amide bonds with primary amines.

These newly released Nanoclusters can be applied for uses in bioconjugation, immunocytochemistry, microscopy probe, cellular uptake, and immunogold.

Nanoclusters are gold compounds with a core of metal atoms and organic groups covalently bound to the surface gold atoms. Due to their small size, these nanoclusters exhibit intrinsic near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence.

Creative Diagnostics’ gold nanoclusters terminated by carboxylic acid groups or amine groups are used to immobilize covalently biomolecules. For repeated isolation and redissolution, carboxylic acid functionalized gold clusters are pre-blocked by a monolayer of Tiopronin. In addition, the monolayer of Tiopronin effectively avoids aggregation of nanoclusters in physiological conditions.

Products including SpecNanoCarboxyl Gold Nanoclusters, SpecNanoAmine Gold Nanoclusters, SpecNanoCarboxyl Gold Nanoclusters, Tiopronin, and others are also accessible at Creative Diagnostics for bio-research applications. For instance, SpecNanoCarboxyl Gold Nanoclusters are highly stable in aqueous media and they can be used to immobilize covalently biomolecules (antibodies, proteins, peptides, aminated molecules) by formation of stable amide bonds with primary amines.

"Creative Diagnostics meets global research needs by offering researchers a quick and easy use Nanoclusters for immunosensing, optoelectronic, drug delivery, cell interaction studies, and catalysis applications. We believe it will make an important contribution to bio-research communities, as we always commit to providing assistance for scientists exploring the potential of important new science discoveries."

Dr. Jessica Waldorf, chief scientific officer of R&D department, at Creative Diagnostics.

"The acceptance and adoption of Creative Diagnostics' nanoparticles products within the life science industry has inspired us for more addition of such high quality ones, so the new Nanoclusters now are available. We are pleased to be part of the vital research that scientists are undertaking, and we’re willing to provide any kind of support or solutions as far as they need for accelerating the research process."

Dr. Randy S. Vaughn, senior researcher at Creative Diagnostics.
