Over the past five decades, the business founded in Nürtingen, Germany, as Greiner Labortechnik has become an international high-tech company, but it has never lost sight of its modest SMB roots. For the first time, scientists from Maastricht University in the Netherlands have succeeded in cultivating a hamburger in a laboratory from the stem cells of cattle. The three-dimensional functional matrix allows the development of covalent binding of nucleophiles to the plate surface without complex coupling chemistry.
